# What You'll Need:

→ Jello Layers

01 - 1 (3 oz) box strawberry flavored gelatin
02 - 1 (3 oz) box orange flavored gelatin
03 - 1 (3 oz) box lemon flavored gelatin
04 - 1 (3 oz) box lime flavored gelatin
05 - 1 (3 oz) box berry blue flavored gelatin
06 - 1 (3 oz) box grape flavored gelatin
07 - 6 cups boiling water
08 - 6 cups cold water

→ Topping

09 - 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
10 - Rainbow sprinkles (optional)

# How-To Steps:

01 - Combine 1 box of grape gelatin with 1 cup boiling water in a mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved, then add 1 cup cold water and mix well.
02 - Pour approximately 2 tablespoons of the grape gelatin mixture into the bottom of each of 8 clear cups. Chill cups in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes or until layer is firmly set.
03 - Prepare the next gelatin flavor (berry blue) following the same process. Pour over the set grape layer in each cup and chill again. Continue sequentially with lime, lemon, orange, and strawberry flavors, allowing each layer to fully set before adding the next. Each layer will require about 30 to 40 minutes to chill.
04 - Once the final strawberry layer has set, top each cup with whipped cream and decorate with rainbow sprinkles if desired.
05 - Keep cups chilled until serving. Present directly from the refrigerator for best texture.

# Expert Hints:

01 -
  • It’s so visually appealing that even picky kids will eagerly ask for seconds.
  • You can mix up the colors and flavors, which keeps things fresh for birthdays or gatherings.
02 -
  • One time I rushed a layer and it bled into the next—patience is key, or you lose all those crisp stripes.
  • If you use metal spoons, sometimes the Jello sets faster—glass mixing bowls seem to keep the timing even.
03 -
  • A thin layer is faster to set and keeps the stripes vivid.
  • Chill the cups in the back of the fridge for even cooling—no sneaky slanted layers.
